Erase a memory?
Has anyone else used the memory channels?? I've tried to erase one per the manual instructions with no luck.? Page 18 of the manual states to press v/m scroll to the mem channel and press the clr

Following the manual, I hold the 3rd button while momentarily pressing the power button and the radio boots into firmware loading mode. I did not need to hold them both like you described. -- Grace &

I think you just hold down the 3rd button while you touch the power button to start up the radio in firmware load mode if you hold down both you might be powering off the radio

I second Digirig. A tiny, lightweight contraption that has worked flawlessly with the TX-500. If you have any questions, they respond swiftly. Overall, it's been a wonderful experience.
