I took a look at the translated copy of the page and was disappointed to see no internal antenna tuner. Definitely a missed opportunity for a professional radio. I'll definitely keep an eye on it

Pro does not list it has pan adapter and none of the pictures show one.

I see your point, however im not sure if it means what we think it means, as on the original page they also mention this: " General receive coverage 0.5 ¨C 56.0 MHz"

This jumped right out at me: * Continuous frequency range: 0.5 - 56.0MHz; The way I read it is its a fully open transmitter.? I may be reading it wrong. 72 Dennis

Its not clear to me what additional features it has over original mode, besides different interface that is focused on channels. Any know what other differences it has ?

Hi Stephan, I hook my USB cable to the CAT connection. The memory editor sees the radio which assigns COM3 to it. I highlight an empty memory number in the editor and enter a frequency. I press UPDATE

Pete, I don't understand what you mean with My TX500 seems to see the memory editor... First update the firmware, then start the editor and select the same COM port. There you can send the memory

My TX500 seems to see the memory editor but doesn't write or read to it getting a TRX NOT RESPONDING. I see no documentation on using it so far. I assume it connects via the CAT port at 9600? Pete
