To monitor your ALC level
Use the bottom left or right most button under the screen to scroll through the menu options till you see 'METR' in the top right of the screen.
push the button for 'METR' (top left most button above the screen)
spin the vfo left and right till you see ALC on the bottom / middle of the screen.
transmit and the meter bar should display the ALC response to your signal, adjust computer speaker volume as needed
