I talked with HRO last week and supposedly they have 170 battery packs on order and they're just awaiting shipment. I work in the consumer product industry and backorders and supply chain delays are still very real (unfortunately). Also, most suppliers of everything will ramp up manufacturing and only ship once they have the full order quantity on hand. My assumption (which could be very wrong) is that all these timelines are stacking and that's why we haven't seen anything yet. Try to get anything manufactured in the US that requires CNC machining, anodizing, electronics assembly, etc and you'll probably be looking at a 6 month lead time. Remember when Lab599 first said they were making a radio and everybody thought it was going to be vaporware? Yet here we are using their radios. In summary... I'm willing to wait and be patient and hope everything comes through.
