Are you monitoring directly through the speaker-mic or an external powered speaker? The reason I ask is that I recently bought a small powered speaker made by Anker and this has a small, but annoying latency, even on its analogue 3.5mm jack input. It's not enough to be noticed on receive but when transmitting CW it's just enough to annoy.
