New Voice Message Memory - Works

Subsequent to yesterday's firmware update, I found a little time today to hook up the TX-500 on the kitchen table with a dummy load.
I can confirm that the new VXM feature works.? I was able to record two separate messages and play them back successfully.? You do not need to press the PTT switch to record; the software connects the microphone.? When played, the messages do key the transmitter.? Pressing the PTT mid-message key does not stop the message.? When the message ends, the TX-500 automatically reverts to receive function.? To repeat the message you must tap the appropriate VXM button to restart playback.
So, for me as a contester this is a great feature.? And, I am sure the POTA/SOTA/IOTA operators will appreciate it as well.? It saves your voice for actual QSO's.?

The only additional features I like would be a way to automatically repeat the selected message with a variable interval, and the ability to stop the repeating message by the PTT switch.
Another feature I am looking forward to is an option for less than 20db of attenuation when selecting ATT.
