Not to sound like a jackass but I would start with the simple.? 1) make sure your input/output for your soundcard aren't plugged in wrong.? This has gotten me a few times.? If you have an external speaker or headphones, plug it into the output of your sound card then transmit and make sure you can hear the sound of which ever Digi mode coming from your radio.? 2) make sure you are in Digi mode.? 3) make sure the volumes? for input and output Digi mode are set to a decent level.? (1 and 2 should probably be switched)
If all 3 of those are correct then we can almost eliminate an issue with the radio and associated hardware and work from there.
