There are many attenuation charts available to compare losses per type of coax per 100ft/30m
what I see is 316 is the worst of ?RG58,LMR400, RG174 at ham frequencies?
I use 25' of RG58 for portable applications and this seems a reasonable compromise for loss vs weight and flexibility?
obviously, the shorter the length , the less difference it makes, the better the SWR, the lower the loss also?
