not the answer I wanted Re DIG mode support via CAT from lab599 support
i did suggest creating a TX-500 CAT command set based 99% on Kenwood but I guess they must know this and for various reasons don't want to do it

The TX-500 transceiver supports the standard set of Kenwood CAT commands (ID; AI; RX; TX; IF; FA; FB; MD (6-DIG); FR; FT; FN; PA; RA). There is no DIG command in this set of commands, switching to DIG mode must be done manually. There is no way to introduce an additional command into the used Kenwood protocol.
