They answered my question about how to connect the TX-500 to an external amplifier and advised the contact rating internal to the TX-500 (<25vdc and <0.5A DC):

In the attachment there is an updated version of the manual - we corrected some errors, described the pinout of the connectors in more detail and clearly.
