The boat launch posts have been replaced. The old chain is down and the new cable is up. We bumped the posts back several feet and expanded the width from 20 to 24 feet. We have to tweak a couple of things, but it's ok to use. I will try to remove the old posts by the week's end. Let me clarify, next week.?

Update on tree removal...they are there today to take down the tree. Please avoid the area. They will return tomorrow if they cannot remove the larger pieces today.?

The Road Commission and Wright Tree Service informed me yesterday that the dead cottonwood at the boat launch will be removed this weekend. That being said, the launch will be shut down while they are working in the area for safety purposes. Please avoid that area of the park if you.?

Has anyone lost their kitten in the past 3 or 4 weeks? At first, we thought it was a feral kitten, but it is not. I noticed it approximately 3 weeks ago on my front porch in the wee hours of the morning. It was unapproachable up until this past Saturday. It is the sweetest little furbaby that seems to have lost its way. My goal is to have it reunited with its family. I took it to Pet Authority on Monday to have it scanned for a chip but to no avail. On Tuesday,? We went back to the vet to begin vaccinations, physical, bloodwork, etc...?

If you know of anyone who lost their kitten, please don't hesitate to contact me. Whoever lost this kitten has to be brokenhearted. There is no doubt this kitten was well cared for and loved.?

I received by email a Priority Waste invoice for 10/1 to 12/312024. I paid it by ACH Bank Transfer on their website, . I created a new login, they do not seem to have any history from GFL.

Florence informed me yesterday she is retiring from goose poop patrol. On behalf of the board, I want to thank you for your dedication and time spent taking care of these areas for the past several years.
That being said, we are looking for volunteers to take on the task. We can set up a schedule that is conducive for all of us. If you can help or have kids home for the summer that use the park and are willing, please contact me.
I researching alternatives to keep the geese away from these areas. They have to be environmentally safe for all. Please read the attachments.
