Finnish radio ham Marko, OH2LRD, ran a series of 5MHz radio club activity days in 2005 and 2004. These proved not only popular with local Finnish clubs but many hams in the UK, USA, Norway and Canada. Marko is now organising more 5MHz activity days over the coming months, and is keen for radio amateurs from the UK and other countries to send in reception reports. He is planning to run the activity days every second Saturday of each month. The first day takes place on Saturday 11 February, to be followed by similar events on 11 March, 8 April and 13 May.
