All well and great.? Right up to the point
now, where D sports racers are using them almost exclusively.
Loyning does most of his business with motorcycle
engines now.? That's his new "bread and butter".
?
Apparently this particular mod. was done way back
in the sixties.? The website claims it's for sale, but they don't return
my
emails.? I also don't know the s/n of the
beast.? Again, it was returned to stock form apparently, which would be my
preference anyhow.
?
I've seen old minis with hyabusas.? They are
staggeringly quick.? Seven clones use 'em all the time now.

Jeff:
All I can say is why in the world would someone go
to that extent to
engineer such an engine combination?? I know there
have been many L23
chassis/engine combinations such as BMW, Ferrari, and
several brands of
V-8s, but the "rotovic" is a new one on me.? You
would have thought that an
Englishman with a sense of history would have
know that racecars with
motorcycle engines (a la Formula III) were not the
path to high placed
finishes.
