Re: Kresy-Siberia Group
开云体育Hi
Anne!
?
Last
week I found out for the first time that my father's family were sent to a camp
near Barnaul. It was called Altaiiski Krai camp, or Altajlag. I got this
information from the Hoover Institute in USA, ?e-mail :? Czernichowska@...??
?Irene is very helpful and welcomes enquiries. She is posting me a copy of
my father's Amnesty Certificate which released him from the camp. You may find
an e-mail could prove productive. My father was from Dawidkowce in the Czortkow
Region.

Best
Wishes,? Ken Fedzin

Ann, can you share the names of your husband and his parents with us? ?Perhaps there are acquaintances already in the group! ?And please do consider registering their names on the Memorial Wall at http://www.aforgottenodyssey.com/memorial - many families have found that public recognition helpful in the healing. Pati, it is great to have another member from Poland in the group. When you were in school in Poland during the last 14 years of independence, how was this aspect of war-time history discussed? Regards Stefan Wisniowski ---------- From: "Patrycja Alberska" <patryska@...> |

Group -
The book had been discussed by the Group many times. Those not already familiar with it may want to read Post #4726 of 25 March 2003 or do a search at our Yahoo site, entering Stalin's Ethnic Cleansing. In my haste to post the information, I forgot to mention this. Sorry. Eve Jankowicz |

开云体育Barbara,
?
I've had the same problem with Dreamweaver - it
only understands a certain number of symbols. The only way I found to get round
this was to program in each individual character in Code view. I do have a
spreadsheet listing all the codes for the Polish alphabet, but its at home (I'm
in the office at the mo) - I'll forward it to you if you like.

Pozdrowienia,
