I do not know what the policy is on
payment. Although I made the original request I had to get my mother to sign
the forms since she is the legal next of kin. So it looks like that if you are
the legal next of Kin then you don¡¯t pay. If you are doing genealogical
research then you pay? Reading others notes here I thought that they only paid
?25.
Might be worth giving them a call to find
out what the score is then we can let others know.

Stephen's message and? then yours. I requested my fathers records last
week on the official form and provided the required docs. etc.? I wasn't
aware there was any charge at all, and certainly not one?of ?50. Can
Stephen confirm if this is indeed correct.
