Please welcome Cheryl Masajada to the group.
Cheryl, you seem to have some information on the Masojada branch of your family:
The list of Oudtshorn South Africa children has these names on it:
266 Masojada Bozena, born Jul 7,1930 in Torun w.Pomorze; parents: Edmund & Elzbieta
267 Masojada Miroslaw, born May 12,1929 in Sieroslaw w.Pomorze; parents :Edmund & Elzbieta
See also our lists of evacuees from Russia, which also include some details on Elzbieta. ?This is located at http://www.aforgottenodyssey.com/gallery/view_photo.php?set_albumName=PWlist&id=10_1_M1959_N0087

Hello Stefan,
My name is Cheryl and I'm the great ?great granddaughter of Tadeusz Masajada. I'm also connected to the name Felicja Masajada which is also spelled on some of the records Masojada. Felicja's name also appears with ?the Yad Vashem-Jerozolima ?Dept. for the Righteous.. Also connected to my family tree is Elzbieta Masojada who left Poland with 40 children and traveled to So. Africa. Polish Children's Home Oudtshoorn, So. Africa 1942-1947 I have been very lucky to learn the stories first had of Felicja and Elzbieta from their children. ?I know there are other Masajada family members that left Poland during that time and some lost their lifes.
I came across your message board last night and I am very interested in learning more about it. The name that caught my eye was ?a message from Henry Sokolowski ?He has a list of Polish soldiers embarking for Canada Nov. 26, 1947. I am very interested in the information that he has on the name Masajada. I have been working very hard on my family tree which has the name Masajada in it. I have been able to go back to 1787 birth records in Poland with help of a cousin living in Poland. ?...The name Masajada seems to have alot of history behind it and I want to learn everything I can about the people connected to the name.
I thank you for you time and hope to hear from you
