First:new? phone books include only company names, addresses etc. It is forbidden to show there any personal information (especially names, addresses, phone numbers)because of protection of personal data act which obliges from about 10 years. And it is really hard to find old enough phone books which were issued before that act came into life. ? Second: Poland is divided into 16 districts(voivodships) and every voivodship has its own phone book- it is not a big deal to check 16 books for the name you are looking for. As I said I must find books which were issued before that protection law came- and during that period (till 1998) Poland was divided into 49 voivodships. It is just a little more books to skim;-) If I find anything I'll let you know, but try to be patient. I live in Upper Silesia in Katowice(south Poland) and first I'll check this voivodship for you.
