Yep, this was par for the course. Jews knew where to go and where not to go for a job. Even in NY. It's amazing how much has changed. To me it makes me appreciate this country all the more because so much mostly peaceful change was able to take place in a relatively short period of time.

Of course the above is a little off the topic of Anders Army, but the point is that for that period I don't think the Anders Army was some kind of bastion of anti-semitism that would stand out as particularly virulent. On the other hand it's hard for me to believe that it was mostly absent there. I could be way wrong about this and am open to any information.
