Please welcome Magdalena Rozanowska to the group.
Magdalena read and writes in English as well as Polish and lives in
Warszawa, Poland. She is interested in the group because her family is from
the Kresy and because they are trying to find her grandfather's family. Her
grandfather was separated from his family at the age of 10 due to the
shifting of the Polish border in 1921.

Czytam i pisze po angielsku (moge jednak miec problemy z fachowym
slownictwem).
W celu przedstawienia mnie to nazywam sie Magdalena Rozanowska, obecnie
mieszkam w Warszawie, a mije zainteresowanie grupa wynika stad, ze moja
rodzina pochodzi z kresow oraz za poszukujemy rodziny mojego dziadka,
ktorego w wieku 10 lat w wyniku przesuniecia granicy w 1921 roku rozlaczono
z rodzina.

Thank you for your request to subscribe to the Kresy-Siberia Group,
which brings together people with a special interest in the Polish
citizens
of various faiths and ethnicities deported from eastern Poland (Kresy) in
1940-41 to special labour camps in Siberia, Kazakhstan and Soviet Asia.
Our group members all share this interest and support each other in our
shared goals of RESEARCH, REMEMBRANCE and RECOGNITION of these events.
In order to maintain the integrity of this group, it is actively moderated
and has controlled membership. We also like to post a little intro on
each
person who joins - which lets us make connections and help each other
research our histories and areas of interest.
So please send me a short, quick note that I can post as a brief intro to
the group. It does not have to be a long... just your name, location, and
reason for interest in the group.
I will start your membership as soon as I hear back from you, but if I do
