Some where on my internet travels I have seen information on replacing components of that DC to DC supply.?? The replacement cobbled up for the TS-850 has been very successful for me at least and rather than trying to figure one out for the TS-870,? I thought I would ask. |

开云体育Hi Bob, ? If I remember correctly, the problem on the original boards was one or two of the SMD transistors. I’d have to go digging to be certain, though. ? I seem to remember repairing one of the boards in one of my radios at the time and then making up a board with the LT1054 chip for the other radio. ? I also replaced the volume/squelch pots in both radios as well at the time. ? It is probably about 7 or 8 years ago now as I haven’t had those radios for about 6 years now as I bought a nice new TS2000X which does everything that the others did and a lot more. ? ? 73….Eric VK2VE. ?
