Hi all,
I have recently bought a TS-770 that appears to have a duff PLL chip.
The chip is the SM6422A and is mounted on the X50-1530-00 PLL(A) board.
I hear that these chips are quite hard to find, and with that in mind does anyone have an old 770 they are using for parts that may contain a board they are wiling to sell ?
Failing that, does anyone know of a near equivalent (no necessarily pin-compatible) fro a different set, maybe? a Yeasu similar VHF/UHF transceiver that may be used to do the job ?
Anyone here using a TS-770 ?
