[Owner] [Kenwood-Amateur-Radio] TM-G707 problem

Every so often-too often-my G707 will do a full reset on power-up. It doesn't seem to be consistent, with things like voltage not being a factor that I've seen.
I see nothing that says these radios have a backup battery of any kind.
I don't even see one in the schematic anywhere, so it doesn't seem like that's it.
Any body else got any ideas? It's weird. I know there is a button sequence that will wipe it, but I'm certainly not hitting that.

Have you considered saving the radio's program on your computer, and then wiping the radio? Reload the program afterwards.

I looked at the manual. On the back there's a reset button/switch. Maybe that's defective? Shot in the dark.

I've been having problems with that too. I used to be able to program it years ago with an old XP laptop that I still have, but it doesn't seem to work anymore. I'm thinking something went bad there too.

That I haven't seen. I'll have to check on that. The way it's mounted there could be something putting some pressure on it...
