Very dim TM-D710G display
I really like the radio, but the display screen is barely readable in daylight.? I'm wondering if this is normal for the radio or if I have a repair option? Tnx and 73.? de AL7MH.

Scanning on D710GA
Just an FYI, I used the full all memory bank scan for a few years before I learned how to just scan one memory bank. Made life a lot nicer. Tim KC1TWR

Kenwood support provided a fix: reset the VFO. Wiped out any stored frequencies but they also provided a primer to restore them. Now the VFO scans the way you described. Probably a moot exercise at

Did u get it figured out? Mine scans in VFO mode and holding the VFO button down until scan begins. Try holding the button down longer. Just a thought. Bob. W4JFA

I'm Richard, KE5JKJ, and new to the group.? I can't get my TH-F6A to scan at all.? Instructions are clear: VFO, BAND, VFO (1 S).? VFO just beeps once but no scan.
