Kenwood support provided a fix: reset the VFO. Wiped out any stored
frequencies but they also provided a primer to restore them. Now the VFO
scans the way you described. Probably a moot exercise at

Did u get it figured out? Mine scans in VFO mode and holding the VFO button
down until scan begins. Try holding the button down longer. Just a thought.

I'm Richard, KE5JKJ, and new to the group.? I can't get my TH-F6A to scan at all.? Instructions are clear: VFO, BAND, VFO (1 S).? VFO just beeps once but no scan.
