Note I don't use Flrig, just select the appropriate rig for control from the menu in either Fldigi or WSJT-X.
So what did I do with the original Pi-zero? I plugged it into an old cell charger and run Pi-Hole on it to strip pop-ups from all the devices on my home network.

As for other issues, it sounds one off - just personally I have flashed a few devices with no issues as of recent with this script to speed up installs of ham softwares.?
to add some details you install the OS this project script just installs software quickly and automated on top of it. It¡¯s not modifying the OS for display or boot issues for example.?
Thank you gents for responding, reading the T&C for winlink it seems they want dedicated hardware and goals to keep the gateway operating 24/7/365. I understand that they want a reliable infrastructure and I suspect my ¡°in an emergency¡± deployment would be in violation. Maybe one day I¡¯ll have resources to commit, but not right now.?
On this BAP build I didnt install gps, gps tools and conky to try something different because I am trying to get my gps working, and I was unable to with the gps tools.? I tried to install gpsd gpsd manually but I got this when attempting?? This is what I used when setting up the gps on my other pi4 and my linux laptop. Am I unable to do it this way with BAP?
On one of my my pi4's I have a software tnc ardop status that I click on before I use gARIM that let's me choose pauvcontrol and ardopc. Which software do I use for gARIM? Also will BAP allow me to monitor,? JS8, Fldigi, FSQ and gARIM at the same time? TIA, Pat

After testing BAP 2.10.0 on earlier release of Pi OS 64bit PAT(v0.13.1), ARDOP, and VARA-HF were working as expected.? I decided to do a fresh build. I am using a Pi 4b.? For the build I used a fresh Bullseye 64bit with update, released early in September.? I installed BAP 2.10.0 and PAT v0.13.1.? I also installed the software required for VARA.? VARA-HF is working fine.? When I tried to run ARDOP it failed.? The ardopGUI runs and is displayed but piardopc fails.? The piardopc window flashes and closes and fails to display activity. The version of piardopc used in the problem build is the same version that I used in an earlier Pi build that is running as expected.? The following is from?ARDOPDebug8515_20220927.log in the failing version.

I got it working. It turned out that when I switch the conky-size to "conky-7inch" that was causing the issue. I thought this might work since the display I am using is 7-inch. When I set it back to conky-small, the conky display came up. Hopefully I won't run into any other issues related to not putting pi-build in $HOME.
