Re: BAP Update / PAT
Jerry Rector
Jason - I had a similar problem to Mike's on the BAP 64-bit system here after the attempt to upgrade PAT.? (32-bit system upgrade ran fine). Your fix, as outlined here, fixed the 64-bit upgrade problem. Thanks for all your efforts.... 73 de Jerry - K4OAM On Thu, Sep 22, 2022 at 12:08 PM km4ack <jason.oleham@...> wrote: I am not really sure what is causing the issue. Re: HT keying with Digirig
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýJason:I tried all of that. Am I supposed to see the 4 dials while running the Vara modem ? If so, my installation is faulty. If it¡¯s supposed to run in the background, we need a method to change settings that would ordinarily be on that drop menu on the dial window. I can¡¯t seem to get to it, no way, no how. And I¡¯m stuck without a PTT setting for the Digirig. If I were to change interfaces, I would still need to adjust those settings. I just need to get to them. 73, Jamie WB4YDL On Sep 22, 2022, at 10:11 AM, km4ack <jason.oleham@...> wrote:

Re: Linux Help
Don't forget, although it does have an equivalent to the Pi3 CPU, it only has half the RAM, which might have issues with running multiple packages at the same time for you. For most 'single purpose' setups (Single app) it works decently, but if it needs to enable SWAP, it really slows down a lot.

Re: BAP Update / PAT
I am not really sure what is causing the issue. Something could have changed in the build process for 64bit OS that I am not aware of. Let's see if it will install manually. Run the following commands, one at a time:
cd ~/Downloads wget https://github.com/la5nta/pat/releases/download/v0.13.1/pat_0.13.1_linux_arm64.deb sudo dpkg -i pat_0.13.1_linux_arm64.deb rm pat_0.13.1_linux_arm64.deb -- 73, de KM4ACK

pi install
#rpi
Been trying to get build a pi on my pi. But seem to encounter this problem.
Any idea what it could be? Using the 4Gb Pi 4 and had this happen once so gave up and now trying again to see if I can get all packages working. Tried the update workaround and patch-menu as that worked before but it does not work this time. Do you know what is causing this? Will 2M0WHN |

Re: BAP on Pi Zero W2?
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThe RPi Zero W2 is based on the same CPU as the RPi 3B+ (quad-core, full-speed, reduced memory). It should run about as well as it would on an RPi 3B+. |

Hey there. The short?answer is it might be possible but you¡¯d have to do most of it by hand by yourself. And it might be super slow or unusable - I haven¡¯t tested it yet. Others might know?
