BAP on pi4 not transmitting with 991a

Hello?
? ? I¡¯m running BAP on a pi4 and I can not get it to transmit , I am running 991a with cat cable for ft8/js8call with no issues ? When I go to run Pat it will ?not transmit? Any suggestions??

I had rebooted multiple times and that did not solve it.
Instead, I reloaded Bullseye and used your Build tool to install FLRig and JS8Call. It works now.
I still want to understand how to use the Icom 705 w/ JS8Call on RPI without FLRig, so research continues.
RPi Hotspot not visible #HotSpot SSID #hotspot

 

Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for a bit of advice please. I can't see my RPi SSID on my iPhone or iPad and therefore be able to connect when using the hotspot in BAP. I can connect fine using my home wifi or when hotspot tools is in "force hotspot" mode (RPi SSID now visible). I want to use my RPi out in the field headless. Is there something I'm missing to make the RPi SSID visible on my iPad or iPhone??

RPi 4,OS with desktop 32 bit, up to date.?BAP (HotSpot tools enabled), VNC.

FLrig and JS8call

 

I notice that when I click on JS8CALL to change frequency like 14.078 or any other JS8Call frequency. Something has locked it. Click on 20 M and it goes to 20 and bounces?back to 7.078.

Unable to QSY even though FLrig and JS8CALL are talking to each other.?

I think I have found the error in my winding. I will attempt a correction - if I can remove the hot glue ;-). For my information, about how long is the wire that comes with the kit? Thanks again for a very nice kit.

make sure the rig is on and then reboot the Pi and see if that clears the issue. I have ran into this issue occasionally before if I boot the Pi before turning on the radio.

I had to use scrot to create a screen cap and use Pat Winlink to send it to my email address so you can see what the issues are.

I have Digirig?running with flrig (VFO) and JS8CALL etc for sound. I have been banging my head on the desk to get Winlink to work. Windows I have no issues. Linux GGgrrr

Hardware Carture

 

After configuring the Pat Menu with appropriate card and device number from arecord -l, I can perform "reboot" numerous times and the card and device numbers remain constant, and Pat Winlink works great.? However, if I perform a hard reboot (power down and repower the RPi) the card and device number frequently change, so I need to reconfigure the config file.? Is there a fix for this issue? (other than never unplugging the Pi?)?
