开云体育Hi A question or two. How much Ram does this Rpi3 have, anything less then 4GB will be a problem and even at 4GB you can expect the make to take a steep slow down at this point. If it only has 2GB then it will fail. To resolve adding 2GB or more of swap space will be required. A google search will tell you how to add swap space to a Pi3 or Pi4. Marty kd8bj

开云体育Pete,I think there is a directory somewhere labeled Fldigi that needs to be deleted. I just read something like this in the Group.IO. You might do a search on “delete” and see if it yields anything. I am currently busy on a lesson for tonight or I would search. I may have time later. Les

Fldigi will not install
Greetings,
Started a fresh install yesterday on a Pi3, and during the fldigi install, something messed up with the Pi which became very unresponsive. I had to unplug the Pi to get it working properly again. I restarted the script to finish the installation, which did complete, but it did not finish (or restart) the fldigi install. I tried a couple more times to install fldigi using the update script, which shows that fldigi is not installed, but it just will not actually install. Is there a way to purge a failed app install so I can try the update script again? Thanks. |

开云体育Somewhere in one of Jason’s videos he describes the adding of the RTC (real time clock). Without a RTC,If the Pi is on a network, it will pick up the time. In another video he describes how to connect the Pi to your phone, if you are away from a network and get GPS and time from the phone. I am not sure how to search for it, but you might try a YouTube search for KM4ACK and phone. I am sure, when Jason reads this later today, he can give a better pointer. JS8Call Audio frustration
Hi All,
I've got flrig working, I can receive just fine and PTT is working but I can't get the pi to send audio to the radio. I've tried all 32 port options and the best I can do is not crash JS8Call when I transmit. Current BAP script Js8Call 2.2.0 flrig 1.4.2. Radio = FT-991A with menu settings that work in JS8Call for windows Any thoughts or suggestions on what to try next? Fritz NM5XD |

开云体育Pete,Do you have the DS3231 chip installed on your Pi? It is not a normal part of the Pi.? If you have it, the software should recognize it and make the proper install. Les WD5BYQ

RTC Issue?
During install, the script asked if my system time was 9:55 am, but the actual time on my clock was 10:55 am (which was the correct time). I selected "no" and then it asked me to set my system time or connect to the internet, and then closed.
On the git hub page it says, "Software for DS3231 real time clock (Available through update script after initial install)." Does that mean I need to finish the install and then go back and install RTC? |

I don't understand your problem. If you don't have a powerpole to round plug cable, you need to make one or I know HRO carries them. OR

开云体育???? ? has a barrel connector, unless yours is a new design? Amazon has one with connector THIS Geekworm has a number of ways to get power in...? ? I have an older one, no screw terminals then.? The options make for a nice power module. 73, steve WB3LGC
