I've confirmed that this also works for the Kenwood D74.

Re: Error RESTful server 8080
HamClock uses 8080 so does PAT. Change PAT to 5000 in Pat Configure (in terminal type Pat Configure, search for 8080, change it to 5000, and save it) and in Pat Menu settings. wrote:

Hello After installing 73 Linux package on Raspberry Pi 5 I can¡¯t use HAM Clock. Any time I open that app I¡¯m getting a message - RESTful server is using same port 8080. Where and how I can update

Re: Meshtastic thoughts
Cool! Yes I have a lot of friends and family that see the value of amateur radio for off-grid comms, but either aren't interested, or don't have the time to get their license. It seems to me that

Re: linbpq rms not connecting
OK. I GOT IT WORKING. As expected, it was something stupid, but not really my fault except that I took way too long to figure it out. I noticed that in the configurator it asks for Call sign: In

JS8Call is one way for APRS. You can send messages from JS8Call to APRS but messages from APRS cannot be sent to JS8Call. -- 73, de KM4ACK YouTube ( https://youtube.com/km4ack ) | Tip Jar (

An update, since so you all have been trying so hard to help... Unfortunately, no real progress. I'm still looking at everyone's suggestions, but no breakthroughs yet. Today I "restarted" using

Re: Best Micro SD card for Raspberry pi 4
There is a really nice and pretty in depth write up in the direwolf docs about some of this. For speed get off the sd and move to an ssd or something. The cards aren¡¯t made for caching, they work

Re: Best Micro SD card for Raspberry pi 4
Counterfeit cards are an issue, so rather than suggest a specific brand I suggest you make a point of using a card from a major brand bought from a reputable retailer that likely buys their inventory

Re: Question for Jason or anyone who knows
Run EES on an older version of Build-A-Pi, on a Raspberry 3B. Never had a problem. Gave a lot of demonstrations. I¡¯m no PI expert, and a dummy with Linux, but I¡¯d be glad to help if I can. Jason

Re: Question for Jason or anyone who knows
Outstanding! I have most of the gear here. What I would love to do is set up a redundant system where if one Pi goes out the other one can take over with little downtime. I'm thinkin a shared network

Re: Question for Jason or anyone who knows
Jason helped me load EES on my Pi4 last month. The app is working fine and we believe it will be a useful addition to our toolbox as our ARES team works with welfare communications in a dark sky

Question for Jason or anyone who knows
Jason/Anyone that know. Is Emergency Email server still available for the newest Distros of Pi or other? Also is it a part of 73 Linux? If not I would love to help bring it back. I have a CERT group

Re: linbpq rms not connecting
I forgot I had posted a question here. Not sure why because the BPQ group and John's docs are pretty good. I don't remember exactly what the solution was but some of the mistakes I've made in the last
