Well, Set PTT was already set to "true", but I went to the drop-down menu and selected "true" again and it started working after that.
Thanks so much for your response. I honestly expected you to have your hands full with this kind of a project, and for some volunteer or enthusiast to respond instead. Good on ya for staying on top of it! |

I may have spoken too soon. The box/menu if you click on 20 m or other frequencies. Radio VFO doesn't change.? FLrig
Fresh install. No other program is linked in. VFO control is not working. I mentioned it a few times on the KM4ACK group. Here I thought it was my error. OS is a raspberry PI using Bulleye. That's right. I'm doing another SD card. The JS8CALL, and FLsuite (FLrig) did not load right. The VNC connects to my hotspot (Rogers Hotspot) on my mobile. I run the Xiegu G 90 from my portable battery (Not Starting Battery) I only have a 40 m hamstick. I can work it from my home QTH or out in the park. Rather than ask hams for help in setting up HF antenna. I just vnc to the car and either use my Android?Pad, Cell or Toughbook.? I don't know why this Bull OS is such an issue. Buster was great. Both VNCServer and VNCViewer are working on RPiOS-64. You need to install Viewer using Start, Preferences, Recommended Software. I am VNC'd into a Pi4-4GB running RPiOS 64 then VNC'd into another computer to enter this message.got it figured out. It was a dependency issue. I had to run BAP twice to get JS8Ca?l to run.? I still can't get flrig to work.Did FLRIG not install or can you not get it configured with your radio? -- 73, de KM4ACK

Here's what I have:
Raspberry Pi 4, 4GB Xiegu G90 and Xiegu CE-19 CAT control board thing. So here's what I do: 1: First thing I do any time I boot up the Pi is start FLRig. I know it works fine because It works with WSJT-X and JS8Call. 2: Then I open PAT Menu, click Pat Auto Connect. Select my band, distance between 50 and 500 miles, click "Start Connection". Terminal opens up, it goes through the script, and Rig control is working fine enough that it can change frequencies on the radio. Problem is that it just runs through this script until it runs out of frequencies in the list. here's a sampling of what the terminal spits out. ''' [Main.KeyPTT]? PTT-FALSE Input peaks = -2266, 2251 Repeating Last Frame Sending Frame Type ConReq500M [Main.KeyPTT]? PTT-TRUE [Main.KeyPTT]? PTT-FALSE ''' Anyone know how to solve this issue? |

I have no idea how to fix this issue. FLrig see the Digirig?ls?-l /dev/serial/by-id and by dev/ttyusb0. However, it won't control the radio. JS8Call doesn't work using serial or usb0 ports. After doing a reflash I did the Pi-build and thought JS8call was loaded. I could see the icon but got a desktop error. I'm reloading Pi Build and hope JS8Call works. FLrig changes vfo. On my RPI3 running BAP w/ LINbpq & direwolf - I noticed these messages on the screen -dw command today. This is my primary winlink server.
My PAT winlink messages don't always go through and I was suspecting it was an issue with my signal link device, but now I'm thinking it's more related to this. Any help to get those values back into tolerance would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks, Scott K0SHD |
