Another way to tackle this is to restart gpsd. Often I fire up my pi even before I have it connected to the radio. Once the 705 is connected and the GPS has a lock, run:
sudo systemctl restart gpsd
?
I plan on adding a shortcut for this in the GPS update tool at some point in the future.

Yes, they are working on it and have found the problem. Look here:

Now the question is when will they propagate the fix to the production version.

The post is from July 15. I encountered yesterday the issue of not having the USGS DYFI template. I updated to v.163 of forms successfully and yet nothing. I went to my .wl2k/Standard_forms directory and saw the directory
for USGS there, but with missing single quotes. I guess the single quotes are for directory names with spaces in between words. The directory name was simply USGS, whereas the rest have the word forms attached. I changed
the name to USGS forms but still nothing. Any idea how to solve this? I have not tested it using iceweasel. I am using Chromium.

Please report this to the Pat forum so the developer knows about the issue.

Re: Conky Maybe

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

is there a way to monitor the voltage from the command line? if so, Conky can display that however, it probably won't help you see why it booted as the conky display will be reset during boot.? If there is a way to monitor the voltage I would suggest simply outputting this to a log file using the append (>>) redirect command.? ?Still could be tricky if its a sudden drop however if it is something that is a slow drain until it finally reboots then it would show it.?

Does any other log show anything?? There is a number of logs in the /var/log directory

Re: P26 trunk tracking

That is incorrect,? OP25 can be configured to work with 1 RTL©\SDR and it works fine. You can run 1 with DSDPLUS on a PC as well.

Re: P26 trunk tracking

Yes, you can use OP25. I doubt it will make it to Build a Pi (but anything is possible) because it is not very easy to configure and requires a bit of knowledge and user know how to get working. It works great though and I use it all the time.

Re: P26 trunk tracking

You can use op25 with a single rtl-sdr dongle to do p25 phase 1 and 2, Here is the forked version to use:?

Here is a decent doc on setting it up:?

I used a couple of these setups with rpi3s and op25 running with single rtl-sdr dongle to feed broadcastify scanner feeds. The only issue I ran into is those dongles if they are going to be on 24/7 to do something similar (provide a feed), they get extremely hot, have a fan and good airflow to keep them cool.

Re: P26 trunk tracking

I was aware of the need for 2 channels to perform it. Thanks for the quick reply. You don¡¯t happen to have a suggestion on good packages vs less useful ones? I¡¯m looking to track 3 channels?

Re: Pat Templates 163 - Stuck in reboot

It was a coincidence. I did more research afterward and discovered that Raspberry Pi¡¯s can get hot and when you reboot the unit isn¡¯t happy.

Left it powered off for a while and powered it back on. Back to normal.?

Now if someone could get the Pat (weather) Winlink forms #163 to actually display that would be great. Yeah. (Issue found by participants of the American Legion Post 42 Winlink Net).

Thanks Jason! Keep up the?good work! 73!

where to find icon for main menue?

hi,
did some action to create additional FLrig settings for different trx.
Realized that new ones are created in a main menue sub folder which I renamed to 'flrig-suite'.
I'd like to change the icon shown there to the flrig one, where can I find the icon?
thanks

used flrig/flrig with wsjtx (familiar with wsjtx on base ic7300 on pc)
wsjtx 2.4.0 - no erros and acts like it working - can change freq etc, enable acts like its sending but rig is not keyed up
sabrent sound configured - no apparent issues, ublox gps no apperent issues (but sometimes need to unplug/plug back but also inside for now)
using 5w to dummy load for now - just cant figure out why wsjtx not actually trying to xmit
