Another tip, you need to verify that the digirig got connected to /dev/ttyUSB0. You can figure that out by running: ls -l /dev/serial/by-id If it is something other than /dev/ttyUSB0, you will need

In your direwolf.conf file look for something like this: PTT /dev/ttyUSB0 It might have a # in front of it. That makes it a Comment. If it's there, remove the # The whole command should look like

You're looking at the page that's telling you what to do. You can uncomment either 201 or 203 and make sure the port for RTS PTT and set its the right port for wherever your card is plugged

Thanks. My FTM-500 radio doesn't do CAT, so I don't believe I'm using Flrig. I don't see which line I comment out to get PTT to be by RTS signal of COM port?

I have a DigiRig Mobile in "Logic Levels Configuration." It is not sending to my Yaesu FTM-500D. Digi Tech Support says: "Yes, PTT will not work unless you specifically configure it to be by RTS

As I understand it, the digirig has specific internal jumper settings and uses a specific cable of the 897. It may not be your computer that is the culprit. Greg KE5DXA
