I have set up Build-a-Pi and am trying to use it to do VHF Winlink.? However, I can't get it to key my FT-1500 xcvr via the data port.? I think the FT-8900 would be the same as they have the same DIN plug pin out.? The EasyDigi modem shows up as??/dev/serial/by-id/usb-FTDI_FT232R_USB_UART_AH06AMLK-if00-port0 in the flrig and fldigi drop downs.? There are no VHF FM rigs listed in flrig.??

I start the packet modem using the Pat menu 2.2.1 by Jason.??

I am using a Sabrent sound card as recommended by Jason.? Connecting a pair of earphones I can hear what sounds like the proper packet tones.? I have been using the Pat Mailbox to try to connect.? I suspect I may be doing something completely wrong (using the wrong programs?).

I have tried all the configurations of the PTT interface (e.g. use RTS, use DTR, etc.) that I can think of.
