I purchased the cable below and am both powering and connecting to my raspberry pi via a hardwired connection versus the wifi hotspot. Once connected and powered up, I connect via VNC Viewer using the raspberry pi hostname.?
I tried a couple of different USB-C cables before I found one that would power up the raspberry pi 4. I have one of the early pi 4 that had a power problem bug.
