Re: Missing Build-A-Pi command in Preferences

In terminal run the following command

sudo nano /usr/share/applications/build-a-pi.desktop

This should open a blank document. Paste in the following lines:

[Desktop Entry]
Name=Build-a-Pi
GenericName=KM4ACK Build-a-Pi
Comment=Build-a-Pi App Manager
Exec=/home/pi/pi-build/update
Icon=/home/pi/pi-build/logo.png
Terminal=true
Type=Application
Categories=Settings;DesktopSettings;GTK;X-LXDE-Settings;

Now press ctrl+s on the keyboard followed by ctrl+x to save and exit. The icon should appear in your pi menu under preferences.
