Re: Build a Pi Issues with Bullseye

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Are you recommending that we start from scratch with bullseye?

I got error(s) during the upgrade.? I haven't tried BAP (I see others are having problems with BAP).
It looks like BULLSEYE is running, except I don't see the headless setting shown in the video.

Maybe just go back to my backup for a few weeks...

I tried am upgrade Following the following commands (link)

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have

Build a Pi is different from other Pi images as it builds/installs everything on the fly. This is a great asset but also has potential to create headaches each time a new Pi OS is released every two years.

I have received numerous reports of several things not installing correctly on the latest release of Pi OS (Bullseye). For those that would like to avoid these issues, I would recommend staying with Buster until the dust settles with Bullseye. You can download Buster images here:

As always, it is HIGHLY recommended that you before doing ANY updates. This gives you a good fall back point should you run into issues.

For those Linux gurus that like the challenge of a new OS, please post any fixes you find in this thread. I will start going through each application that isn't working to try and find a solution. Having the help of the community will greatly speed the process.

I posted last night that covers the change to setting the resolution in VNC if you are completely headless.
