The BAP installation went smoothly on my RPI 4b.? I did have to play a little with gpsd configuration to get FLRIG and my gps dongle to work together.? I have become quite experienced at that, having done a number of FLRIG and GPS installations under Linux.? Long story short, everything I use works on my RPI, including ARDOP and Pat Winlink.
I then installed ARDOP and Pat Winlink on my Ubuntu notebook, transferring Jason's BAP instructions.? Again, the installation went without a hitch.? But here is the problem.? Even though the correct dial frequency and call sign are inputetd into the radio and Pat, and the radio keys up, I keep getting timeouts.? I do know that the ARDOP station is up and running because just before I sent an email using my RPI.? Any station, any frequency any time.? Timeout.
Additionally, I have Oracle Virtualbox and a Windows 10 VM installed.? I installed Winlink Express and the FLDIGI suite and JS8Call.? FLRIG, FLDIGI and JS8Call all run as expected in my VM.? Even Winlink Express.? I also wanted to try out VARA.? Yet the same thing occurs.? Either using ARDOP or VARA, This time the message is, "station is busy."
I have adjusted the audio conrols on both my notebook and my radio, but I can't seem to find a solution.? Can anyone help?
