I think it¡¯s related to the serial ports on the Pi4. Not sure what it is exactly, but I ran the same dongle in my Pi3 and Pi4 for 24 hrs each. Output the data from Gpsd into a file and compared the two.?
The 3 never missed a beat, the 4 consistently used less satellites and lost its fix ever few minutes?
I don¡¯t believe this is a GPS hardware issue, this is a Pi hardware issue.?
