Great find on networking gpsd, I¡¯ve never been able to get that to work until now. I¡¯ve successfully used cgps as well as xastir on a remote device and it seems to work great. I don¡¯t have another available device to try testing gpsd but I¡¯m going to go out on a limb and guess that the issue is on the remote end and not the device providing GPS data on port 2947.
