I followed the instructions and had the following results
test - installed
tried a second time - received message it was previously installed
exited update tool
restarted update tool
tried test again -?- received message it was previously installed
Did same with test2 same results
I did not install flmsg patch as i do not use flmsg and have not installed it
The only odd thing i saw was after installing a patch and clicking exit, the patch tool restarted forcing me to say to say no instead of continuing into the tool update area.? This may be by design but it felt odd and i wasn't sure if i was proceeding or in a loop.
Otherwise, the patch tool is looking pretty neat so far!!
Thanks,
Terry K4HNT

I am working on a Patch Tool for BAP. Currently it is in ALPHA testing. If you are interested in helping to test, please see .
The purpose of the Patch Tool is to allow me to roll out minor fixes for things that annoy us but really don't warrant a immediate new release of BAP. Recently, FLMSG has an issue that causes it not to compile with BAP. For the Linux power users, this is minor. For others, this is more daunting. The Patch Tool will make it super easy for anyone to fix these minor annoyances.
After testing, be sure to return your system to the stable branch of code. Directions to do so are at the bottom of .
