I have used VNC on my OSx system in the following way. I hard wired my Mac to my router, and connected my WiFi setting to the Pi's SSID.? This worked flawlessly for me.

So, this question is for Mac OS users... I'm having a VNC Viewer issue on *only my Mac-to-forced-hotspot connection. I get a "no route to the host is known" error. When I try connecting to the forced-hotspot-pi from my windows laptop (and even chromebook), however, it works flawlessly.
Just curious if any Mac users have bumped into this, and if I'm missing a step somewhere. I should also add that under normal circumstances, VNC Viewer on my Mac works great. I can connect to my BAP Pi no problem, ... and indeed, I constantly have 2 other Pis running (OMV, and PLEX), and VNC Viewer connects to them with no issues.?
The issue seems to be limited to the BAP Pi in forced-hotspot mode.
