The Raspi foundation now is testing the ability to boot from USB instead of the SD card.? After a recent Video that Jason posted, I ordered a few 256gig USB drives. (Wait til the wife sees those! This may be my one and only post here!)? I am planning Maybe not right away, but to set on of my pi4's up to boot from the USB as apposed to the SD card and then use the latest Build a Pi script to set up one of the new boards? for my raadio.. One thing I found is that with the 3, there is not enough power to the USB ports for me to run the GPS using even a 6inch USB cord to power it. With the setup I am working on, it would be a big help to be able to extent the GPS away from the case a few inches.
Has anyone tried to boot from USB with the 4 yet??
