Aside from accessing top through a terminal window, you have a desktop program that does the same thing called System Monitor.

Hi Jeremy,
?
I can’t speak to the radio, but the equivalent of task manager in Linux as a text mode program called top. If you open a terminal and type top, then a list of processes will come up. If you press k, this will tell it to kill that process, (correction select a process and press k. You can also press k and type in the process number; by default, the number will be the process at the top of the screen) and it will ask you if you want to use signal 9 to kill it (a normal exit) or signal 15 (forcing it to exit). I’m sure you’ll get that hang of it with a litttle exploration- it has a few explainers on screen, and IIRC, h will bring up help. When you’re done, q will exit top.
