I did a brand new install and got the black box too.?
I could not figure out how to get it working so I went back to my old card.?

So flashed a new SD card with 32-bit Bookworm and then a full install of 73Linux. I see Wayland is installed by default. And I immediately see the black box of Conky ! So I spent some quality time reading comments ¡ and more comments ¡ for hours.

I managed to use Wayland and add a line or so in conkyrc to get now a transparent nothing box. I can tell something¡¯s there as when I right click in it I get the expected nothing ¡ but nothing shows. At wits end now.
?
Is there a proper order to installing all this or magic incantation to get this in particular to work ? I¡¯m at a point where I can just start over and try again.
