The PiShop.US has (no waiting) RPi v5 8G in stock.? I ordered one, along with "the fan/heatsink", and an NVMe "disk" drive (PCIe 2.0 x1 interface).? I purchased a PNY 250G CS1030 (on the Pimaroni "good" list).? After replacing the PNY with a Crucial P3 500G - it works.? (The PNY was not recongnized).?

• Fast boot (my uSD A3 is fast too).
• Runs, up to 2.4G.? Can be overclocked.
• The FAN is OK.? Not as good as my RPiV4B overclocked 64bit - 40mm fan running full speed (idles at 40C - rarely gets to 50C).? I have "on order" a GeeekPi Active Cooler, to see IF it is better.? The FAN is quiet, though.?
  
• A few issues with 73Linux apps. - Conky sits in the middle of the screen (easy to turn on/off) and the GPS close to the RPi, is locked, but Conky does not show GRID.
  
• I am running an "improved" version of wsjt-x - it didn't show on the screen, properly.? There is an update I have not tried.?
  
• Not "sure" I need the 8G.?
