Yeah... something's not geehawing in my setup. I have restored from a very early backup after configuring my system and, after deleting the 73Linux folder, have re-run the 73Linux script. I don't select much - ARDOP, JS8Call, Pat, and PatMenu. All of those installed except Pat. I figured this out when running pat configure and I was told by the system that there was no such command as "pat." Well, that got me thinking...
When I ran the 73Linux script this past weekend, I ran into the same issue - Pat wouldn't install on the first try (yep, I rebooted). It did on the second try. It did ask me for my grid square and Winlink password both times (and the sudo password each time as well). I just re-ran the 73Linux script and only installed Pat and then rebooted. This time, Pat did install but Pat Menu still will not start the ARDOP modem. It will start the web service but I still have to start ARDOP manually.
I'm inclined to believe this has something to do with Mint 21.3.
My RPi 5 / 8GB arrived today so I'll be playing with that for a few days and getting it setup.
