Kelly - thank you - there is nothing being sent because the radio is no going in to transmit at all.

I had a similar problem with ARDOP - and got it working by modifying this line in the pat configuration file? for ARDOP:
? ? "ptt_ctrl": true,

So ARDOP now works, but I can't find a similar change to make for AX25.
