I'm wondering if you connected to the raspberry pi with wifi.? I made that mistake when I first ran Build a Pi.?

At approximately 13 minutes, you say I should be able to see the SDID of the Pi. That is not the case on either an iPhone or a W10 PC ?fully up to date.
