Update to this message.?? The GARC board has decided we will begin effective with the last club meeting on 4/26/2021 having in person meetings for all club functions such as
Croney Lunches (which never stopped anyway)? First and Third Saturday activities for 1st Saturday Hands On meeting 12-2 pm and 3rd Saturday Open House 9am to 12pm, and for all GARC Board meetings on the 2nd monday of each month.? Until further notice Zoom will be available for those members who are unable to come in person to join us electronically.

I was going to go in and update the Calendar with what is coming up for the GARC activities but I am unable to do so.?
I also am unable to upload any files or do anything else that i can find right now.?? Am I missing something here?
Don't know what value this site is to the club if we cannot update or keep an updated calendar.? It also would help to be able to
put up and maintain some basic files such as Membership application and maybe more info on meetings and Zoom if needed.

Long time Richardson resident Bud Walton, K5HW, passed away during the night (April 27/28). Bud had been the Richardson RACES Radio Officer for many years and was active in several ham clubs in the area, including the Garland Amateur Radio Club.

No other details are available, including funeral arrangements.

Please keep his wife, Wilma, and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Due to the outbreak of Covid 19 all in person meetings of the GARC have been suspended until further notice.? We do have meetings via Zoom on the first and third Saturday's of the month.? We also have Zoom meetings on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except? for December) which serves as our regular club meetings.

Anyone interested in Ham Radio is welcome to join us in a zoom meeting with or without a license.?
