Ham radio deluxe, was,Re: GARC Information NET
Bill, AI5DY, ? The website Ham Radio And Vision looks very interesting. ? Ken, W5KYZ, just a note since you are a member of the GARC Equipment Dispersal Committee, that Bill might be interested in the Kenwood TS-680S or a YAESU transceiver. I don't know how to verify that the radios are compatible with the Ham Radio Deluxe rig control other that GARC loaning him the radios in question and trying the software. ? Maybe someone on groups.io has knowledge of "Rig Controls" and JAWS screen readers. ? John, KF5FWK ? cc: W5KYZ ? cc: k5qhd @ groups.io -----Original Message-----

Look what I found. As long as I want to use a computer with my radio and the radio supports it ham radio deluxe would workk. I think but would need to check to see if the ?
?Kenwood TS-680S and YAESU radios the club has for sale ?are supported.?
?
They give a 30 day free trial so I could try it with a radio. I went to him radio outlet and discovered the Kenwood 990 I want is way out of price range at $1600. LOL so now I’m looking at a Ham Radio Deluxe and cheaper alternatives. This looks promising though.
I support the JAWS screen reader for a living so I better know how to use it with a program like Ham Radio Deluxe. LOL? I found this artical.?

Fw: SARA VE’s
FYI -----Forwarded Message----- From: vice president vicepresident@... Sent: Jun 13, 2021 8:39 AM To: Undisclosed recipients@, @ Subject: SARA VE’s At our last General Meeting those in attendance voted to continue pursuit of starting a Laurel VE team sponsored by SARA. The team would augment other VE teams in the area and provide another testing opportunity. The SARA VE team would have test sessions on a day different from other local teams to accomplish the goal of augmentation.?
As a result we are working to determine who currently has a VE with other VEC’s. Below is a list of call signs and the VE certification that they have as we know it today. If your call sign is missing or there are other VEC’s you are certified with please send me an email so that I can update our records.

开云体育As others have said, the answer is YES to all the questions.? There are more frequencies available on A-Band than B-Band, but you can scan the aircraft frequencies on A while running normal communications on B.? This radio does a lot and I have only just begun to investigate them.? You will like it if you get it! ? Tony... ? Sent from my Compuserve Account ?
